How is apiit and ucti different from one another, the course themselves of course, apiit courses are mainly from Staffordshire university, where else ucti courses are from ucti with quality assurance from Stafforrshire university. apiit focus in computing programs, on the other hand ucti offers wide range of courses ranging from business, IT, media, tourism, to engineering programs.
Other then the course, the fee is different, marking scheme is different and online assessment are different as well, with one calling PAGOL another calling UCTI PAGOL, why apiit still bother to call themself apiit-ucti, of course other than scamming naive kids like me who know nothing of the world.
Poor me, with only 3 days to complete my psf (project specification form), im basically dried up to cough out 7 fields to fill in.

A: Title
B: Brief description on project background. (.i.e. problem context, rationale, description of problem area, nature of challenge)
C: Brief description of project objectives.
(i.e. scope of proposal and deliverable)
D: Brief description of the resources needed by the proposal.
(i.e. hardware, software, access to information / expertise, user involvement etc.)
E: Academic research being carried out and other information, techniques being learn.
(i.e. what are the names of books you are going to read / data sets you are going to use)
F: Brief description of the development plan for the proposed project.
(i.e. which software methodology and why, the major areas of functions to be developed and the order in which developed)
G: Brief description of the evaluation and test plan for the proposed project.
(i.e. what is the success criteria and how will be evaluated & implementation will be tested, indicate the estimated size of the demonstration/test database)
-----------
basically i can understand A-F because all other proposal that i have seen clearly do required you to identify before you even start working on any research (or basically any work, to prevent you to waste resources) but when it comes to G, i'm basically stunned.
Test plan? what test plan? what success criteria? what evaluation and implementation? what estimated size of the demonstration? what demonstration? what database? things that i does not use and never told of. i'm trying to do a exploratory research which i have yet to read up upon which i only have 2 months to get all the shit up, yes its 2 months, why? possible i will put up on the next post after my psf is being approved.
So think twice before you are really coming to apiit, by the way, yesterday i found out that apiit canteen actually can make some real good curry mutton that banana leaf guys doesn't make.
